Tell us about yourself (What you do, how you got started in the business, etc.):

I have been building houses since graduating from college in 1976. In addition to all types of single family homes, I started building ADUs in 1998. Now it is the majority of our business.

How did you get involved in the HBF? What keeps you involved?

I’ve always been involved in some type of organization that gives back to the community, and I’ve been involved with the HBA for many years. So, HBF was a perfect match. I have enjoyed every aspect of my involvement: Builder Captains, Board Member, and President.

What is a fun fact about you that not everyone knows?

Some people are surprised that I enjoy snowboarding. I grew up in Florida surfing as a kid, so it was a natural transition.

What is your favorite hobby?

Golf, in addition to travel, fishing and snowboarding
