The Home Builders Foundation (HBF) will once again send volunteers into the community to paint and perform minor repairs with the volunteer blitz event, Painting a Better Tomorrow.
Shelters that will be served: Janus Youth Programs’ Clackamas House,
Volunteers of America’s Marie Smith Center, Portland Rescue Mission’s Burnside and Shepherd’s Door, Transition Projects’ Jean’s House, as well as Catholic Charities’ Kateri Park Apartments.
Date: Saturday, November 12, 2011
Time: 8AM-4PM (many teams complete their projects within 4 hrs)
The HBF is looking for volunteers to get involved and help make a difference.
- Painting a Better Tomorrow is a great team-building opportunity for companies large and small.
Volunteer with your kids – a great way to satisfy service learning hours.
- Currently accepting team captains and/or individual volunteers to participate in the event.
Team captains help the HBF by recruiting/managing their volunteers
