The Home Builders Foundation (HBF), the charitable arm of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, is pleased to announce:

An additional $4000 scholarship opportunity for the graduates of the ACE Mentoring Program.

The scholarship award can be used towards tuition at a four year university or two year college.  The scholarship will be an incremental award of $1,000 per year provided that your course studies align with the ACE mission.  This scholarship is made possible by the Gary E. Milgard Foundation.

Home building is a dynamic industry; evolving very quickly in response to sustainable materials, more efficient methods of construction, and working with jurisdictions to create vibrant communities.

To simplify the process for ACE students, we have adopted the ACE scholarship application.   In addition to the application, we ask that you respond to one of three short essay questions pertaining to the home building industry.

Directions for submitting your ACE application and HBF essay questions can be found at the ACE Oregon website under HBF Scholarship:
