The Home Builders Foundation is working to end homelessness in our community by building and renovating transitional housing facilities in the Portland metro area. We leverage the resources of the home building industry to reduce up to 50% of labor and material costs through donations and discounts. No other charitable organization is better positioned or uniquely qualified to address temporary shelter needs like the Portland area home builders are.
But we can’t do it alone.
The Home Builders Foundation Annual Auction and Gala is a celebration of our community and a benefit to raise funds for our shelter development program. The work we do is vital in helping to end homelessness, and our strength comes from the support of business leaders and philanthropic donors.
Over 2,500 invitation to this highly anticipated event are sent out to individuals and companies.
Auction attendance is expected to reach over 400 in 2014.
Auction attendees include professionals in the home building industry, philanthropic leaders in the Portland area, as well as state and local elected officials.
Last year, the Home Builders Foundation broke records as it raised over $235,000.
This year, the Home Builders Foundation is planning to break records again.
Set at the elegant Nines Hotel in downtown Portland, the Silver & Crystal Auction and Gala will be a night to remember. Estimated to draw over 400 attendees this ear, this event provides companies with a unique way to connect with friends and supporters of the Home Builders Foundation.
