St Johns Village

The St Johns Village is the much-anticipated transitional shelter supporting 19 beds on a small site in the downtown St Johns neighborhood. In a partnership with the City of Portland, Do Good Multnomah, St Johns Church and Multnomah County Joint Office of Homeless Services, HBF is helping to coordinate donations and volunteer labor to help complete this sleeping pod community that will fill a huge void in North Portland. Similar to the Vets Village, this Housing First, low-barrier shelter is designed to house guests up to two years and place people ultimately in permanent, supportive housing!
