Bank of America awards HBF $10,000 for Veterans project

BofA_enterprise_cmykBank of America Charitable Foundation continues their long-time support of Home Builders Foundation and HomeAid America with a $10,000 grant for an upcoming veteran’s project in Beaverton at the Salvation Army's Veterans & Family Center. HBF/HomeAid Portland will be replacing the HVAC system of a local shelter that serves veterans and their families just in time for the upcoming summer months. Last year Home Builders Foundation received a $5,000 grant from Bank of America Charitable Foundation for the Saving Our Shelters breakfast focusing on shelter preservation in the Portland metro area.Bank of America Charitable Foundation awarded a $250,000 two-year grant to HomeAid America in 2015 that funds volunteer activities, including financial literacy education, at its 16 chapters across the country. Bank of America has been a steadfast supporter of HomeAid America since 2004, contributing over $2 million to house families and individuals in need.
