Home Building Foundation (HBF) leverages the philanthropy of the residential home building industry to build and renovate shelters in the greater Portland area for those experiencing homelessness in our community. Since 2005, we've built or renovated 180,000 square feet of shelter space, providing over $14 million worth of donated labor and materials to house over 1000 individuals annually in safe, dignified shelters.

The 20th Anniversary of the Home Building Foundation Trap Shoot, presented by Parr Lumber, will be held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at the Portland Gun Club. This award-winning event for the residential home building industry draws over 400 shooters every year for a fun day of exciting competition and unparalleled networking. Funds raised at this event directly benefit the Home Building Foundation and its work in the community to provide safe, dignified shelter for those experiencing homelessness.
