HBF Board Grows in Depth and Talent by Adding Three New Members

Tim Nacrelli, Zepak CorporationTim has recently accepted a position as a packaging specialist with Zepak Corporation, a family owned business based in Wilsonville that has been a part of the local business community for more than 40 years. Along with providing resources for all types of packaging, Zepak also is a partner in a specialty adhesives manufacturing group, which can formulate custom adhesives for any specific application.His business background includes 7 years in the mortgage industry,  14 years in the building materials industry as a product specialist and regional sales manager for building materials manufacturers and distributors. Prior to that, he ran his own specialty contracting business for five years, operating his business in six western states. In 2010, Tim served as the HBA Membership Chair. In addition to serving as a board member for the HBF, he will lead as Events Chair for the organization.Tim grew up in the Portland area, graduating from Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego. He then moved on to Linfield College, where he graduated with a double major in Business and Economics. He also had a very successful college football career at Linfield, where he was an integral part of two small college national championship teams in 1982 and 1984. He has since been inducted into the Linfield football hall of fame as a member of both of these championship teams.Recently, Tim has enjoyed spending time coaching high school football, first at Riverdale High School for four years, and last year at Lakeridge High School.Roger Neu, Nupark Development Roger grew up in the Hillboro area, and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1962. He went on to the University of Oregon, were he graduated from in 1968 with a degree in Business Finance with a focus on real estate.Roger immediately started his professional career as real estate appraiser (MAI) from 1968-1985, operating his own firm by the name of Younger and Neu for 17 years.  He was elected President of the Greater Oregon Appraisal institute in 1995.In 1996, Roger started his own company, NuPark Development LLC, focusing on small infill land development and townhome/condo projects.  He has completed 8 projects containing 105 lots.  He continues to work at his latest project, Eastview Ridge Condominiums, which in 2008 was awarded an HBA Excellence Award for being the best attached home.  Roger was also honored as the 2009 Builder of the Year by the HBA.His outside activities include being a past treasurer and board member of the Portland Street Car Inc. for 14 years.  He currently sits on the Investment Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon Investment Fund.  He was also the past president of a youth soccer club.  Roger also plays tennis and loves whitewater rafting.Roger is married to Joyce and they have 4 children and soon to be 6 grandsons.  He enjoys spending time with his wife by traveling to their beach house in Pacific City, Oregon, and spending time in Naples, Florida.  They are also Oregon sports fans, often attending games for the Blazers, Ducks and soon with the Timbers.Brad Hosmar, Arbor Custom HomesBrad Hosmar joined Arbor Custom Homes in April of 2005 after owning and managing one of Portland’s leading home design firms for 16 years.  He brings a wealth of experience to the company having been involved in the Portland area home building community since 1982.  In his current role as Chief Operations Officer, Brad manages design, construction, procurement, customer service and their interface with land development, sales and marketing.Brad brings team oriented leadership to the company and integrates and encourages input from all members ensuring the best possible results for their homeowners.  Brad’s strong background in design and problem solving has proven to be a catalyst in Arbor’s industry leadership in product development and community design.  This commitment and opportunity given to Brad and other team members by West Hills Development owner’s Dennis Sackhoff and Wally Remmers has been critical to the company’s survival and success through one of the most difficult economies in decades.Brad spent 7 years as a Board Member of Educational Media Foundation, spent 3 years as a Board Member and volunteer for the Sunset Apollo Baseball Club, currently is a Cabinet Member for Open Arms International and looks forward to his new involvement as a Board Member for the Home Builders Foundation.Brad graduated from Aloha High School in 1977 and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 1982.  He and his wife Valerie have raised 3 daughters and a son in the Portland area and look forward to the next chapter in their lives.
