Painting a Better Tomorrow

Help the HBF Paint a Better Tomorrow this November-   The Home Builders Foundation (HBF) will once again send volunteers into the community to paint and perform minor repairs with the volunteer blitz event, Painting a Better Tomorrow.Shelters that will be served:  Janus Youth Programs’ Clackamas House,Volunteers of America’s Marie Smith Center, Portland Rescue Mission’s Burnside and Shepherd’s Door, Transition Projects’ Jean’s House, as well as Catholic Charities’ Kateri Park Apartments.Event Details:Date: Saturday, November 12, 2011Time: 8AM-4PM (many teams complete their projects within 4 hrs)The HBF is looking for volunteers to get involved and help make a difference.

  • Painting a Better Tomorrow is a great team-building opportunity for companies large and small.Volunteer with your kids – a great way to satisfy service learning hours.
  • Currently accepting team captains and/or individual volunteers to participate in the event.Team captains help the HBF by recruiting/managing their volunteers
  • If you are able to volunteer at the event, please consider making a donation to the Foundation to help us cover the costs of Painting a Better Tomorrow!
