New features at this year's Trap Shoot

Already one of the premier charity sporting events in the home building industry, this year’s HBF Trap Shoot, presented by Parr Lumber, will not be one to miss! Exciting new features are coming to the event, held on Friday, September 18 at the Portland Gun Club. Team registration is open online and limited spots are still available! Register your team online here.NEW! Start off the day right with a hot breakfast, provided by the Divine 9No more sugar-filled pastries – the Divine 9 is doing breakfast right! Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and other delicious breakfast fare will be available for all shooters, for no additional cost. Breakfast starts serving promptly at 6:30am. Get there before the crowds to fuel up before the day begins!Returning this year will be Pacific Perks coffee carts, provided by Performance Insulation. Baristas will be whipping up hot and cold drinks from 6:30-8:30am. This year’s lunch, courtesy of NW Natural and DR Horton, will feature delicious BBQ from none other than Portland Rescue Mission’s Mission BBQ! This BBQ company gives formerly homeless men a chance to learn valuable skills while at Portland Rescue Mission’s The Harbor, a former HBF project!NEW! Capture the day’s memories at the Directors Mortgage photo boothPics or it didn’t happen! Get your team photo taken at the event from 10:30-12:30, courtesy of Directors Mortgage. Each team member will receive a copy of their photograph as a souvenir.And speaking of photography, HBF will be taking pictures from high in the sky! A drone, courtesy of Drone Age Media, will be buzzing around the trap field (behind the line, of course!) taking pictures and videos of the day’s events.NEW! Get a second change at the James Hardie Annie Oakley Sharpshooter CompetitionSometimes you just have bad luck; sometimes you just happen to line up next to professional bunker shooter Kate Bonn. Whatever your excuse is for being knocked out of the James Hardie Annie Oakley Competition, you get one chance to get back in! Mulligans will be available for $10, limit one per shooter per round.Combo packs will once again be available! For just $40, you will get one entry into the James Hardie Annie Oakley Sharpshooter Competition, ten rounds at the Cascade Windows Practice Trap and five raffle tickets. Never shot trap before? This is your chance to test everything out, get pointers from the pros and practice with your team! The Portland Gun Club will host a private Practice Night for all HBF Trap Shoot participants on Wednesday, September 16 from 5pm-8pm. The Portland Gun Club will offer member pricing for all shooters and expert marksmen will be on hand to help novices learn their way around the trap field.
