Building Hope Gala & Auction raises $270,000 for shelter projects

www.ykvision.comThe Milgard Windows and Doors Building Hope Gala & Auction, presented by Directors Mortgage raised $270,000 on April 9th to benefit the Home Builders Foundation and its mission to build safe, dignified shelter for those experiencing homelessness throughout the Portland metro region.“We are so very grateful to Milgard Windows and Doors, Directors Mortgage and our Honorary Chairperson Bill Gander, current owner and President of Standard TV and Appliance, for an outstanding evening.” explains Ken Cowdery, HBF Executive Director. “We also want thank our generous donors, our fantastic event and table sponsors, and our terrific volunteers. We are going to help so many people in our community because of the outstanding support we received that night."Over 80 companies and individuals donated auction items including luxurious trips, tickets to fantastic sports and concert events, incredible wine packages, and other truly unique items and experiences.
