Home Building Foundation- HomeAid Portland builds and maintains housing and other support facilities for reputable nonprofit organizations and public institutions serving people experiencing homelessness by leveraging our relationships within the building industry to garner in-kind donations of labor and materials.

Home Building Foundation-HomeAid Portland works to provide dignity and restore hope through our Community Engagement programs. These programs and basic necessity drives provide the opportunity to provide additional resources to assist those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Home Building Foundation-HomeAid Portland accepts the responsibility to raise awareness, educate and advocate regarding the issues individuals, families, and our communities face concerning housing insecurity and homelessness.
Workforce Development
Building a Future Workforce.
Home Building Foundation empowers individuals through education and training in the home building industry to create long-term solutions to homelessness. Through these programs, participants can gain the knowledge and experience necessary to pursue a career, and achieve self-sufficiency and long-term stability.
Featured Projects
Past projects include emergency and transitional housing facilities, sleeping pod villages, homes for girls escaping sexual exploitation, resource centers, with additional projects always in development.
We bring together nonprofit service providers, private construction companies, trade partners, and government entities to complete projects at a fraction of the cost. This means more of our vulnerable neighbors can get the help they need.
